Cool the City Community Forum - Let’s Play a Game to Reduce Extreme Heat!

Join Southside ReLeaf for a Cool the City Community Forum on Thursday, June 19 at Studio Two Three!

What?

During this collaborative and community-focused event, we’ll play a game where you’ll work with others to identify how to collectively prioritize government spending. The focus will be on creating a city that is better prepared to manage the impacts of extreme heat, flooding, and other weather events. This is a free event and dinner will be provided. It will be a fun evening of networking and meaningful conversation!

We value your time. Participation will include compensation in the form of a $20 gift card.

When?

Thursday, June 19 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Where?

Studio Two Three at 109 West 15th Street. Parking is available in the parking lot and around the front of the building, if necessary. Please carpool with others when possible.

What should I bring?

Dress is business/smart casual. Please bring a reusable water bottle.

Do I need to sign up?

Yes! Please sign up using CFengage. Spaces are limited to 50 participants. If you have any questions or would rather register by email, please contact Lisa at lisa@southsidereleaf.org. You can also call/text us at 804-446-1029 to let us know you’re coming.

We are planting trees, building tomorrow’s workforce, and increasing capacity for the City of Richmond and its nonprofit partners to deliver lasting change.
