Join Southside ReLeaf for a Cool the City community forum on Monday, September 22, at Studio Two Three!

What?

During this collaborative and community-focused event, we’ll play a game where you’ll work with others to identify how to prioritize government spending collectively. The focus will be on creating a city that is better prepared to manage the impacts of extreme heat, flooding, and other weather events. This is a free event, and dinner will be provided. It will be a fun evening of networking and meaningful conversation!

We value your time. Participation will include compensation in the form of a $20 gift card.

When?

Monday, September 22 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.

Where?

Studio Two Three at 109 West 15th Street. Parking is available in the parking lot and around the front of the building, if necessary. Please carpool with others when possible.

What should I bring?

Dress is business/smart casual. Please bring a reusable water bottle.

What have past participants said about this event?

"Southside ReLeaf usually puts on a great event, but this one was extraordinary. The way it brought together such varied groups of people to discuss the Richmond RVAGreen 2050 priorities was outstanding. It really gave people the experience of having to choose between very important priorities while having only limited funding. It was a great reminder that we can't do everything, so where should we focus? Well done!!!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the interactive and educational game, and meeting and talking with the people at my table. I was encouraged to see how we all reached consensus, despite different views at first, and I wish those in government would learn how to do the same!"

"A very great interactive experience with local people from Richmond."
