Environmental Justice Town Hall

  • Mt. Carmel Baptist Church 3200 East Broad Street Richmond, VA, 23223 United States (map)

Help our partner, Virginia Interfaith Power & Light, prepare for the 2026 General Assembly Session by sharing your thoughts and concerns about the environmental injustices in the Metro Richmond Area and around Virginia at their Richmond Town Hall.

Hearing from you will help ensure VAIPL’s priority bills align with the needs of communities in every corner of Virginia. These town halls will also include a recap of last year's general assembly session and a preview of environmental justice bills for the 2026 session.

With so many recent changes at the federal level that will impact energy efficiency, increase greenhouse gas emissions, and gut access to healthcare, it is important now more than ever to come together as people of faith and goodwill to chart a just path forward for all Virginians.

We have an opportunity with the 2026 General Assembly session to advance climate, environmental, and social justice. Let's prepare to seize the moment and ensure our state laws and budget prioritize people and planet.

Please join this Richmond Town Hall and bring your friends, family, neighbors, and members from your house of worship! Refreshments will be provided. You can RSVP by clicking the button below.
