Join Southside ReLeaf for two fall planting workdays at the new park behind Ernest Road. We’re seeking volunteers to help us plant small to medium native shrubs and trees on the first workday (9/23) and plant small plugs and quarts of herbaceous natives on the second workday (10/1).

When are the workdays?

• Tuesday, September 23 | 11 am - 2 pm

• Wednesday, October 1 | 11 am - 2 pm

You can arrive after the start time and leave early if necessary. We ask that you plan to stay on-site with us for at least 90 minutes.

Where are the workdays?

Using your GPS, navigate to 2913 Ernest Rd. Parking will be available on the street in a residential neighborhood. Please do not block driveways or mailboxes. Once parked, you’ll walk down the grassy path with the “No Parking” sign and follow the path to the right. Please note that the path leading to the park may be muddy and slippery if it recently rained.

What should I bring?

Long pants and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Please bring a refillable water bottle. Dress for the weather and use sun protection. You can bring your own gloves or borrow a pair of ours.

Do I need to sign up?
