This May, Southside ReLeaf is proud to participate in Idealist Days — a global movement that brings people together to take positive action in their communities through service, connection, and local impact.
As part of this effort, we’re uplifting Richmond Shines, a citywide volunteer initiative led by the Richmond ToolBank that supports neighborhood cleanups and beautification projects throughout the city.
Join us as we continue caring for the neighborhood surrounding the new park space behind Ernest Road. This volunteer opportunity focuses on litter cleanup to help create a cleaner, healthier environment for residents and visitors alike.
What?
Volunteers will help remove litter and debris along Ernest Road and nearby streets using provided tools like trash grabbers and bags. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit and enjoy a newly established, well-canopied green space in Southside Richmond.
