RVA Environmental Film Festival

  • Various Locations Richmond, VA United States (map)

The 2026 RVA Environmental Film Festival (RVA EFF) has curated a thought-provoking and inspiring collection of films. From learning more about critical environmental issues to stories of restoration and hope, this festival connects people and communities who care about our environment. There are films for everyone, and all screenings are free (except for screenings at Maymont’s Robins Nature Center) and open to the public.

The 2026 festival runs from February 21 through March 7, with films screening at Studio Two Three and seven other locations in the Richmond area. Several screenings offer an opportunity to hear from filmmakers and activists about their films and the issues they address.

The festival launches at Studio Two Three with all-day screenings on Saturday, February 21, and again on Sunday, February 22. Studio Two Three is located on Richmond’s Southside at 109 W. 15th Street.

Festival partners hosting screening events this year include the Office for Sustainability at the University of Richmond, Richmond Public Library, Chesterfield Public Library, Henrico Public Library, VCUarts Cinema, and Maymont’s Robins Nature Center.

The final RVA EFF screening event will be at the VMFA on March 7.

Plan your festival experience and stay in touch through Instagram, Facebook, and the festival’s website(rvaeff.org)! We look forward to seeing you at the 2026 RVA Environmental Film Festival!
