Join the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Richmond Parks and Recreation on the first Tuesday of each month, April-October, at Fonticello Park’s Tiny Forest for Tiny Forest Tuesdays.

This young forest was planted in 2025 with native trees and shrubs to support biodiversity and create a healthy ecosystem. Volunteers will help by hand-pulling weeds so the forest can grow strong. No experience needed — tools and guidance provided.

Bring your coffee and a friend who loves the outdoors to kickstart your Tuesday mornings the right way!

Workdays will take place on the following dates and times:

• July 7 | 9 - 11 a.m.

• August 4 | 9 - 11 a.m.

• September 1 | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
